Freckle.

Freckle.

Created by a team of passionate and downright incredible people, Freckle is an independently published magazine that aims to inspire and educate people about the many facets of ever-changing life in Northern Ireland. As part of this country, and of this community, it was my honor to provide several photographs, including the cover photo, for the latest issue - Spring 2017.

Colours of Carricknaford is one of my favorite photos of the North Coast. Taken on a sunny Octobers evening, the sky was alight with the colours of a typical Irish sunset. The small, salted flowers clinging to the cliff edge on one of the many basalt stacks that occupy the sea, just west of Ballintoy Harbour. The beauty of the land beyond, fading into the arrival of night.

Also featuring within the magazine are the photos of a twisting Torr Road in the Northeast of County Antrim, and the sunrise at Fanad Head Lighthouse in County Donegal, one of the coasts beautiful outposts.

If you are interested in purchasing any of these photos as prints, don't hesitate to get in contact with me / oliver@islander.ie
